1. In a small bowl add the 5 milliliters of water, a pinch of sugar and the baker’s yeast. Stir with a teaspoon and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes, until a layer of foam emerges.

2. Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the egg and beat with the rods. Pour the water and milk. Mix and knead with your hands until you get a homogeneous dough. Add the sugar and salt and continue kneading. Add the yeast and mix. Add the butter and knead for about 10 minutes. Cover with a cloth and let rest for 2 and a half hours, until the dough doubles its size.

3. Pass the dough on a smooth surface and give it an elongated shape. Cut the dough into eight equal portions. Cover with a cloth and let rest for about 20 minutes.

4. Take a portion of dough and give it a round shape. Extend the dough with the roller and roll on itself. Place the rolls of dough on a tray with baking paper. Cover with a cloth and let rest for 1 hour and a half, until doubled in size.

5. Place in the preheated oven at 200ΒΊC for about 15 minutes, until they are done.

6. Make a horizontal cut without opening the bread completely. Serve the hot dog buns and make 100% homemade hot dogs.
