2.1. Relaxation Exercises
Periodically perform eye exercises to relieve tension. Try the following exercises:
- Close your eyes and slowly rotate them clockwise and counterclockwise.
- Focus on a distant object for a few seconds, then shift your gaze to a nearby object.
2.2. Palming Method
Sit comfortably, cover your eyes with your palms to completely block out light, and relax for a few minutes. This exercise helps reduce eye strain and relax the eyes.
3. ADHERING TO REST REGIMEN
3.1. Proper Sleep
Lack of sleep can negatively affect eye health. Ensure you get 7-8 hours of sleep each night to allow your eyes to recover.
3.2. Breaks During Computer Work
If you spend a lot of time at the computer, take regular breaks. Follow the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look away from the screen and focus on an object 20 feet (about 6 meters) away for 20 seconds.
