Small-cell metal hood grilles quickly accumulate grease and dirt, but they are not at all easy to clean. I found a solution to the problem by using liquid products for cleaning sewers for these purposes. You can take any pipe cleaner; their composition is the same: they are based on soda and water in different proportions.
Let’s start cleaning
First you need to take a container suitable for the grill. I use a baking sheet taken out of the oven, it is shallow but wide enough. I put a grid in a baking sheet and pour the product onto the surface of the grid; foam forms immediately; to soak the fat accumulated in the grid, everything must be left to stand for a quarter of an hour. During the soaking process, the grid can be turned over for a better effect.
