A woman named Nancy was in mourning following the death of her husband Patrick. He had just died in a tragic car accident. The couple had a wonderful love story. Nancy was having a hard time accepting the loss of her husband. Shortly after his burial, a woman came to see her to present her with something. As she was leaving the cemetery, she met this lady named Amanda. The latter was carrying a baby in her arms
. She called out to Nancy and assured her that the child was her late husband’s. Nancy didn’t want to believe what the woman had just told her. Her husband had never been unfaithful. She then walked away from the woman and returned to her car.
SHE DECIDED TO DO A DNA TEST
As she got into her vehicle, she noticed something in the back seat. Amanda had indeed dropped the baby off there. Nancy didn’t know what to do. She didn’t know the woman’s address. So she decided to take the child home. Once she got home, she kept wondering if the baby was really her late husband’s. To be sure, Nancy decided to do a DNA test. So she collected some of her husband’s hair on a brush, before going to a lab. DNA tests normally take several days to get results. However, Nancy wanted to know the truth quickly. So she paid extra for the test to be done quickly. Later, she received the results which indicated that the child shared 99% of her husband’s genes. The baby was therefore her husband’s.
