Beef Roulade with Cheese

To make these ahead: roll up the meat (uncooked), then cover it with plastic wrap and place the refrigerator. When you’re ready to serve, you can bake them, adding 5 minutes to the baking time.

Can You Freeze Beef Roulade?
Yes, you can! Prepare the beef roulade slices, then wrap each tightly with plastic wrap and transfer to a plastic Ziploc bag, Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator. Allow to thaw completely before baking.

What To Serve With Beef Roulade
Serve the roulade with any tasty sauce for dipping: creamy cheese sauce, peppercorn sauce, spicy tomato sauce, or a rich gravy.

Sides that work well with the roulades are fries or roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, potato salad, green beans, or steamed broccoli.

Instructions

Mix together the meat, salt, and pepper. Add the egg, Parmesan cheese, and spices.

Spread out the ground beef on a sheet of parchment paper.
Cover it with cheese and ham
Roll it up and refrigerate for two hours.

Slice the roulade (about 1-inch pieces).
Place the slices on a baking sheet and bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
