Blackened Pork Chops

Optional – brine chops in salt, sugar, apple juice & water bath for 30 minutes.

Lightly coat chops with olive oil.

Season with sea salt and black pepper to your liking.

Season with Blackened seasoning to your liking.

Cook on high heat in cast iron skillet, brown on both sides until it has a charred color and temp is around 135 degrees.

Broil in oven until blackened and temp is 145 degrees.

Cover with foil and let them rest for 10 minutes.
