Crock Pot Pepper Steak

DIRECTIONS:

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced beef and sear until browned on all sides.

Transfer browned beef to the crock pot.

In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if necessary, then sauté onions, bell peppers, and garlic until slightly softened. Transfer to the crock pot.

In a separate bowl, mix beef broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the beef and vegetables in the crock pot.

Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

About 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch with water until smooth. Stir this into the crock pot to thicken the sauce.

Continue cooking for the remaining 30 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Serve hot over rice or noodles.
