Ingredients:

450g phyllo dough (14 sheets/ 16oz.)

240g melted butter (8.5 oz.)

finely chopped nuts to garnish

For the syrup

250g sugar (8.8 oz.)

150g water (5.3 oz.)

3 whole cloves

1 cinnamon stick

peel of 1 lemon

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tbsp honey

For the filling

180g nuts almonds, walnuts, pistachios (6.5 oz.)

3/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground clove
