Hot Roast Beef Sandwiches with Gravy

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place the hoagie rolls on a baking sheet and warm in the oven for 5-7 minutes.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.

Gradually whisk in the beef broth. Bring to a simmer and cook until the gravy thickens, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Warm the roast beef in the gravy for 2-3 minutes.

Open the hoagie rolls and fill them with the warm roast beef. Top with gravy and any optional toppings.

Serve the sandwiches hot, with extra gravy on the side for dipping.
