Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf

Prepare the Vegetables: In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onions, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and garlic until soft and slightly caramelized. Set aside to cool.

Mix the Meatloaf: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cooled vegetable mixture, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.

Layer with Cheese: Press half of the meat mixture into a loaf pan. Lay slices of provolone cheese over the meat, leaving a small border around the edges. Cover with the remaining meat mixture, sealing the edges to enclose the cheese.

Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the loaf pan in the oven and bake for about 50-60 minutes. If desired, pour beef broth over the meatloaf halfway through cooking for added moisture.

Serve your Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf hot, ideally with a side of mashed potatoes or a fresh salad. Enjoy the melting cheese and flavorful meat with every bite!
