Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake

1 box yellow cake mix
2 cans (21 oz each) strawberry pie filling
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Whipped cream for serving (optional)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the strawberry pie filling evenly.
In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling.
Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the top.
Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix layer.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Let it cool slightly before serving. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
