Sweet Potato Cornbread

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.

In a large bowl, mix together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In another bowl, whisk together the mashed sweet potato, eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter until well combined.

Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just mixed.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let cool slightly before serving.
