Sweet Potato Cream Cheese Brownies with Praline Spread

Prepare the Brownies:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the mashed sweet potatoes and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer:
In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter. Use a knife or skewer to swirl the cream cheese layer into the brownie batter.
Bake the Brownies:
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean (a few moist crumbs are okay).
Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
Prepare the Praline Spread:
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Stir in the brown sugar and heavy cream, and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture is smooth and begins to thicken (about 3-4 minutes).
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and chopped pecans. Allow to cool slightly before spreading.
Spread the Praline Topping:
Once the brownies are completely cool, spread the praline topping evenly over the top.
Serve and Enjoy:
Cut into squares and enjoy your Sweet Potato Cream Cheese Brownies with Praline Spread!
