Healthy soup recipe

The healing power of bone broth cannot be understated. Full of minerals, this is the food of our ancestors and the foundation of traditional cooking around the world. There’s so much to say about the benefits of broth, the Weston A. Price foundation has lots of information on this.

In our house we make this yellow noodle broth whenever we or the children are sick or are feeling depleted and in a yang deficient pattern. The full sweet flavour of broth goes directly to strengthening the digestive system. Most foods with a yellow/orange colour also have this quality so I make mine with Ghee to make it extra nourishing for the stomach. I usually dice everything finely to make this very light and easily absorbed by the body.
