● Mix the dough: In a bowl, beat together the hot milk, sugar, yeast, eggs and cream cheese.
● Adding dry ingredients: Add all-purpose flour and salt to the mixture. Knead the dough until it becomes smooth.
● Incorporating the butter: Knead the soft butter into the dough and set aside for 2 hours or until doubled in size.
● Cut the dough into 12 pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
● Custard Filling: Flatten each pastry and place a tablespoon of custard inside. Pinch the edges together to seal the filling.
● Resting time: Set the filled dough balls aside for 30 minutes to allow them to rise.
● Arrangement in the pan: Lightly unfold each ball and place them on a round, overlapping baking pan.
Final Rise and Baking: Set the assembled balls ● aside for another hour. Bake at 160°C/325°F for 25 to 30 minutes. Brush with butter before serving.
